Gujarat corona crisis CM Rupani meeting dycm Nitin patel press conference

A meeting of the High Power Committee was held with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. In which Gujarat government has taken an important decision. After the meeting, DyCM Nitin Patel held a press conference. He said that night curfew will be imposed in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot from tomorrow. Importantly, the decision has been made to prevent the increasing transmission of corona.

A 2-day curfew was announced in Ahmedabad city following the rising case of Corona and then a night curfew was announced till further notice. At present, curfew has been declared in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot as a precautionary measure even though there is no increase in cases. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that night curfew will be observed in Surat, Rajkot and Vadodara from tomorrow. Night curfew will be in force in all four major cities from 9pm to 6am. The night curfew will remain in place indefinitely. Citizens need not fear in the slightest. The announcement of a curfew has been discussed. Preparation of notification of Home Department for this has been discussed. The government has appealed the wedding plan. "If possible, plan a morning wedding," said Nitin Patel.

Nitin Patel gave statistics about the empty bed. In which, he said, the government has started testing a large number of corona. So the citizens have also done the testing themselves. So full arrangements are being made for admission of patients in different hospitals. Some people have created an atmosphere on social media that the beds are full, there is no place to keep patients. But it is wrong to say that there is no space in the hospital in Ahmedabad. Citizens do not need to be intimidated or rumored.

The 1200-bed hospital has 971 patients under treatment. The 1200-bed hospital still has 60 ICU beds vacant. A new 120 beds will be added to the 1200 bed hospital. Sola currently has 400 isolation wards and 50 ICU beds. A total of 270 patients with corona in Sola Civil are under treatment. Gandhinagar Civil also has 230 non-critical patients under treatment.

Corona's condition was discussed in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the situation of Corona was discussed in the meeting as there was no increase in the number of Corona cases in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot in large numbers as a precautionary measure in the same manner as in Ahmedabad. Yesterday there were 1340 cases of corona in the state, which is 1420. Large-scale corona testing has been carried out by the government and we have largely succeeded in preventing corona transmission.

The announcement said that the planning of the wedding has been given relief. Weddings will be allowed. People will be able to gather with the permission of the local police station. So only 20 people will be allowed at the funeral. People traveling by rail and air will be exempted. All medical services employees will be exempt. Essentials shops will continue. ATM and banking service will continue. So milk and drug stores will continue. Employees doing home delivery of medicines will be exempted. Employees of electronic and print media will be exempted. Private security services will continue.

Importantly, a meeting was held at the Chief Minister's residence today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Rupani. In which the issue of control action of Corona in Manpa area was discussed. So curfew, transportation, wedding ceremonies and necessities were discussed. The meeting was attended by officials including Rajiv Gupta, Jayanti Ravi. After the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel held a press conference. In which he has announced some decisions.

Lockdown is not possible anywhere in Gujarat: CM Rupani
Earlier, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, after visiting Jagatjan Ambema at Ambaji Yatradham today, said people need not be afraid. Lockdown is not possible anywhere in Gujarat. This is the only weekend curfew in Ahmedabad.
