Gujarat coronavirus cases dycm Nitin patel press conference today

A high level meeting of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's government was held at Gandhinagar today. The important decision taken by the government was then announced and Dy CM Nitin Patel informed through a press conference. He said that night curfew will be imposed in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot from tomorrow. So he also made an important announcement regarding marriage.

Dy CM Nitin Patel informed that the government has appealed to the citizens regarding the planning of the wedding. Plan a morning wedding if possible. The deputy chief minister also said that marriages would be allowed in the state but a list of 200 people would have to be given to the local police station.

Rules for complete curfew in Ahmedabad (November 21 and 22)

• Weddings can be arranged, approval must be sought from the local police
• Only 20 people allowed at the funeral
• Exemption for people traveling by rail and air
• Returning passengers will be able to return home with a valid ticket
• AMTS buses will run on Route 10 from the railway station
• Permission to give ID card examination to the candidates of CA, NIC, CSIR, SSC
• Parents are allowed to pick up and drop off students going for exams
• All medical services-employees will get a discount
• Essentials, ATM-banking, milk and drug stores continue
• Exemptions for home delivery of medicines
• Electronic and print media employees exempt
• Private security services continue

Note: There will be night curfew in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot for an indefinite period from 9 pm to 6 am.

Night curfew in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot including Ahmedabad
A 2-day curfew was announced in Ahmedabad city following the rising case of Corona and then a night curfew was announced till further notice. At present, curfew has been declared in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot as a precautionary measure even though there is no increase in cases. Night will be observed in Surat, Rajkot and Vadodara from tomorrow. Night curfew will be in force in all four major cities from 9pm to 6am. The night curfew will remain in place indefinitely.
